A report to be published later this year, based on research conducted by Carnegie UK Trust, will highlight the roles of foundations in contributing to lasting, positive change for public benefit. Diana Leat, author of the report, said: 'We underestimate the importance of charitable foundations when we focus only on their money. This report will illustrate the huge potential, and varied roles. of foundations in contributing to change with impact way beyond their immediate grantees'.
