The idea of a Colloquium on Creative Philanthropy arose from the Trust’s previously commissioned report Stepping Up the Stairs; that research revealed that foundations and other grant makers would value the opportunity to come together annually in a high quality ‘Spring School’ to discuss issues of common concern.
Working with WPC the Trust organised a high quality prestige annual residential event for philanthropists, foundation/other grant makers, senior trustees and staff, drawing upon national and international facilitators and speakers.
The 2007 event is now documented in a report, by Caroline Hartnell, Editor, Alliance Magazine, which should soon be available.
